  1. A dasyure is any MARSUPIAL of the family
  2. Dasyuridae, it is also known as a "native
  3. cat". Dasyures are found mainly in Australia
  4. and New Guinea. Dasyures have long, bushy
  5. tails and dark coats with white spots. They
  6. are agile, nocturnal carnivores, able to move
  7. fast and climb.
